The Law Library will be closed on Thursday, February 12, AND Monday, February 16, 2026 in observance of Abraham Lincoln’s and George Washington’s birthdays,

Due to these closures, we will not hold our weekly Divorce and Family Law Help Walk-In or Call-In services.​

Mondays, 8:30 a.m.-10:30 a.m.

This is an IN-PERSON service inside the Law Library. Spanish interpreters are available.

​​​Family law lawyers volunteer to answer brief divorce and family law questions for self-represented litigants with Kane County cases. Priority will be given to those who have been sent by a judge and need to immediately return to court. ​No income qualification is needed.
