Family law lawyers volunteer to answer brief divorce and family law questions for self-represented litigants with pending Kane County cases​.​

Lawyer in the Law Library Drivers' Privilege Clinic (offered at the Kane County Law Library)
First Wednesday of the month, 3 p.m.-5 p.m. (walk-in service)

Volunteer attorneys from the Kane County Bar Association will offer FREE legal advice to assist in getting driving privileges reinstated. You MUST have a copy of your Driving Record Abstract to receive help. Visit the Illinois Secretary of State​ to get a copy or go in person to a DMV. If you need an intrepreter, you must bring someone with you who can interpret for you.​

Lawyer in the Library Service (offered at Gail Borden Public Library, Grove Room)

Fourth Thursday of every month, ​6 p.m.-7:30 p.m., volunteer attorneys will be available in-person for 15-minute meetings to assist with legal coaching, document review, referrals to other services, eFiling court documents and legal questions. No registration. Gail Borden Public Library, 270 N. Grove Ave., Elgin, IL 60120.​

Meeting Rooms $10 reservation fee otherwise first come first serve​
